Beastly Banking

In the books of Daniel and Revelation, we read about a horrible beast that will rule over the earth in the last days.  This beast is actually a nation, and according to the seventh chapter of Daniel, there are four beasts through world history, and the first beast was Babylon.  Babylon is also mentioned as the beast in the book of Revelation.

What does this Babylonian beast have in common with banking today?

You may be surprised to learn that the answer is, "plenty."

For example, today's fractional reserve banking system has its origins in -- you guessed it -- ancient Babylon.

When the present banking crisis began, I must admit, I was a bit perplexed as to exactly what caused the crisis.  Finding the answer took many hours of study, but suffice to say that the basic answer to this question is simply that we have tolerated a financial system that is completly oblivious to the commandments and teachings of our Creator.

Is it any wonder then that we have an international financial crisis ongoing?

To understand why this crisis is occurring, one must fully understand how banking really works.  For an introduction, have a look at the following documentaries.  By understanding the fundamentals of banking, it becomes increasingly clear how this beastly banking system, empowered by our unwillingness to obey Yah's commands regarding avoiding debt and interest, is rising up as form of judgment.  This beastly banking system orignated in Babylon and is being raised up as a judgment for our rebellion and is consquently working to enslave us all.

Our only hope of defeating this beast is to repent of our rebellion personally commit our deeds to perfect consistency with Yah's code of ethics, including His instructions regarding money.  Thankfully, Yahshua Messiah will defeat this beast upon His return.  Until His return, let us occupy our time in humble submission to His commandments...

...and wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wockedness in high placeses, which requires that we understand a bit regarding how these powers work.

Updated Video!
The next video is titled "Money as Debt II" and is a continuation of the above "Money as Debt" video.  "Money as Debt II" does a great job of describing the problems of our present financial system in summary but does not make a good explanation of the correct solution.  Our present debt-based money system must be replaced by a value-based money system, but the replacement system must be governed by the ethics described in Scriptures.  So, although you will get a very good explanation of the problem with today's financial crisis, the solution is to obey Yah's commandments instead of conjuring up new schemes.  Regardless, it is a very informative video.  Enjoy...

Money As Debt II - Promises Unleashed from Vega Angkor on Vimeo.

All indications suggest that the owners of the Federal Reserve are part of the beastly Babylonian system working in conjunction with Rome, per Scriptural prophecy, to bring about judgment upon the earth as a fulfillment of Scriptural prophesies.  This judgment is necessary because men refuse to repent of their sins.  Yah is raising this beast up just as He raised up Babylon against Yisrael in Yirmyah’s day in order to be a judgment against all of us for our refusal to obey Yah’s commandments.

Prediction: The Federal Reserve absolutely will not allow itself to be audited.
Why?  Opening its own books would expose its shareholders to public scrutiny, which will allow Americans to see:
1. The exorbitant wealth that the shareholders of the Federal Reserve have accumulated.
2. The agreements that they have been made with foreign entities that are contrary to the interests of the people of the United States.

"The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled."
John Kenneth Galbraith, Economist

"I am afraid that the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that banks can and do create money ...And they who control the credit of the nation direct the policy of Governments and hold in the hollow of their hands the destiny of the people"
Reginald McKenna, past Chairman of the Board, Midlands Bank of England

“Thus, our national circulating medium is now at the mercy of loan transactions of banks, which lend, not money, but promises to supply money they do not possess.”
Irving Fisher, economist and author

“That is what our money system is. If there were no debts in our money system, there wouldn’t be any money.”

Marriner S. Eccles, Chairman and Governor of the Federal Reserve Board

"Everyone sub-consciously knows banks do not lend money. When you draw on your savings account, the bank doesn't tell you you can't do this because it has lent the money to somebody else."
Mark Mansfield

"If all the bank loans were paid, no one could have a bank deposit, and there would not be a dollar of coin or currency in circulation. This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash, or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. When one gets a complete grasp of the picture, the tragic absurdity of our hopeless situation is almost incredible -- but there it is."
Robert Hemphill. Credit Manager, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

“One thing to realize about our fractional reserve banking system is that, like a child’s game of musical chairs, as long as the music is playing, there are no losers.”
Andrew Gause, Monetary Historian

“Anyone who believes exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world is either a madman or an economist.”
Kenneth Boulding, economist

“Money is a new form of slavery, and distinguishable from the old simply by the fact that it is impersonal, that there is no human relation between master and slave.”
Leo Tolstoy

“’The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented.  Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin. Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough money to buy it back again...   Take this great power away from them and all great fortunes like mine will disappear, and they ought to disappear, for then this would be a better and happier world to live in. But if you want to continue to be slaves of the banks and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let bankers continue to create money and control credit’.”
Sir Josiah Stamp Director, Bank of England 1928-1941
(reputed to be the 2nd richest man in Britain at the time)

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world, no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”

U.S. President Woodrow Wilson

“All of the perplexities, confusion, and distress in America arises, not from the defects of the Constitution or Confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit, and circulation.”

John Adams, Founding Father of the American Constitution

“Whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce...and when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate.”

James A. Garfield, assassinated president of the United States

The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of government, but it is the government’s greatest creative opportunity.”

Abraham Lincoln, assassinated president of the United States

“If the American people ever allow the banks to control the issuance of their currency, the banks and corporations that grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”
Thomas Jefferson

"Once a nation parts with the control of its currency and credit, it matters not who makes the nations laws. Usury, once in control, will wreck any nation. Until the control of the issue of currency and credit is restored to government and recognised as its most sacred responsibility, all talk of the sovereignty of parliament and of democracy is idle and futile."
William Lyon Mackenzie King

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected the promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if
we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the National autodetermination
practiced in past centuries"
David Rockefeller in an address to a Trilateral Commission meeting in June of 1991

'The governments of the present day have to deal not merely with other governments, with emperors, kings and ministers, but also with the secret societies which have everywhere their unscrupulous agents, and can at the last moment upset all the governments plans. '
British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, 1876

"In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press....They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers."
U.S. Congressman Oscar Callaway, 1917

'The real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self created screen....At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties.'
New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, 1922

'From the days of Sparticus, Wieskhopf, Karl Marx, Trotsky, Rosa Luxemberg, and Emma Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a definite recognizable role in the tragedy of the French revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th century. And now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their head and have become the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.'
Winston Churchill, stated to the London Press, in 1922

How Do We Rid Ourselves Of This Evil?

The answer is so simple that it is overlooked.  But the solution requires courage – courage that our generation has generally lost, as it craves instant gratification.

You cannot fight this beast on the battle field and expect to win.

You cannot defeat this beast by a popular vote.  It will only return later.

The only way to defeat this beast is to decide personally to defeat them by keeping the commands of Elohim and the faith of Yahshua Messiah.  You cannot convince the rest of the world to do so.  You can only do this on your for yourself and by Yah’s grace.  It must be a personal decision that you make.

You must defeat them the way Yahshua defeated them.

Obey Yah’s commandments.

Obey even if it means your torturous death.

Decide to die before you will compromise.

The time to stand up for righteousness as defined by our Creator is now.  It is time to stop making excuses.

It is time to repent; otherwise you are doomed and rightly so.

Ethics Regarding Money Per Scriptures

Deuteronomy 15
At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called Yah’s release. 3 Of a foreigner you may require it; but you shall give up your claim to what is owed by your brother, 4 except when there may be no poor among you; for Yah will greatly bless you in the land which Yah your Elohim is giving you to possess as an inheritance— 5 only if you carefully obey the voice of Yah your Elohim, to observe with care all these commandments which I command you today. 6 For Yah your Elohim will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.  7 “If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which Yah your Elohim is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother, 8 but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs. 9 Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,’ and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to Yah against you, and it become sin among you. 10 You shall surely give to him, and iyour heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because jfor this thing Yah your Elohim will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. 11 For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’

Job 31
16 Have I refused to help the poor, or crushed the hopes of widows who looked to me for help? 17 Have I been stingy with my food and refused to share it with hungry orphans? 18 No, from childhood I have cared for orphans, and all my life I have cared for widows. 19 Whenever I saw someone who was homeless and without clothes, 20 did they not praise me for providing wool clothing to keep them warm? 21 If my arm has abused an orphan because I thought I could get away with it, 22 then let my shoulder be wrenched out of place! Let my arm be torn from its socket! 23 That would be better than facing the judgment sent by Elohim. For if the majesty of Elohim opposes me, what hope is there?  24 Have I put my trust in money or felt secure because of my gold? 25 Does my happiness depend on my wealth and all that I own? 26 Have I looked at the sun shining in the skies, or the moon walking down its silver pathway, 27 and been secretly enticed in my heart to worship them? 28 If so, I should be punished by the judges, for it would mean I had denied the Elohim of heaven.

Psalms 37
21 The wrongdoer is borrowing and does not repay, But the righteous one shows favour and gives.

Proverbs 11
4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
6 The righteousness of the straight ones delivers them, But the treacherous are caught by greed.
28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

Proverbs 13
11 Wealth from vanity diminishes, But he who gathers by hand increases.
18 Poverty and shame are for him Who ignores discipline, But he who heeds reproof is esteemed.
22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

Proverbs 16
16 How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is preferable to silver.

Proverbs 18
11 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination.

Proverbs 19
4 Wealth adds many friends, But the poor is separated from his friend.
10 Luxury is not fitting for a fool, Much less for a servant to rule over princes.
22 What is desirable in a man is his kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar.

Proverbs 20
21 An inheritance obtained with greed at the beginning Is not blessed at the end.

Proverbs 22
7 The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender.
26 Do not be one of those who shakes hands in a pledge, one of those who is surety for debts;
27 If you have nothing with which to pay, Why should he take away your bed from under you?

Proverbs 23
4 Do not labour to be rich. Cease from your own understanding!
5 Do you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle to the heavens.

Proverbs 27
23     Be diligent to know the state of your flocks,
     And attend to your herds;
24     For riches are not forever,
Nor does a crown endure to all generations.
25     When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself,
And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in,
26     The lambs will provide your clothing,
     And the goats the price of a field;
27     You shall have enough goats’ milk for your food,
For the food of your household,
And the nourishment of your maidservants.

Proverbs 28
20     A faithful man will abound with blessings,
But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.

Ecclesiastes 5
8 If you see a poor person being oppressed by the powerful and justice being miscarried throughout the land, don’t be surprised! For every official is under orders from higher up, and matters of justice only get lost in red tape and bureaucracy. 9 Even the king milks the land for his own profit!
10 Those who love money will never have enough. How absurd to think that wealth brings true happiness! 11 The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what is the advantage of wealth—except perhaps to watch it run through your fingers!
12 People who work hard sleep well, whether they eat little or much. But the rich are always worrying and seldom get a good night’s sleep.
13 There is another serious problem I have seen in the world. Riches are sometimes hoarded to the harm of the saver, 14 or they are put into risky investments that turn sour, and everything is lost. In the end, there is nothing left to pass on to one’s children. 15 People who live only for wealth come to the end of their lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day they were born.
16 And this, too, is a very serious problem. As people come into this world, so they depart. All their hard work is for nothing. They have been working for the wind, and everything will be swept away. 17 Throughout their lives, they live under a cloud—frustrated, discouraged, and angry.
18 Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat well, drink a good glass of wine, and enjoy their work—whatever they do under the sun—for however long Elohim lets them live. 19 And it is a good thing to receive wealth from Elohim and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—that is indeed a gift from Elohim. 20 People who do this rarely look with sorrow on the past, for Elohim has given them reasons for joy.

Psalm 119
Give me an eagerness for your decrees;
do not inflict me with love for money!
37     Turn my eyes from worthless things,
and give me life through your word.
38     Reassure me of your promise,
which is for those who honor you.

Matthew 20
1  For the reign of the heavens is like a man, a householder who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
2 “And when he had agreed with the workers for a silver piece a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 “And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market-place,
4 and said to them, ‘You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I shall give you.’ And they went.
5 “Having gone out again about the sixth and the ninth hour, he did likewise.
6 “And about the eleventh hour, having gone out, he found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’
7 “They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you shall receive.’
8 “And when evening came, the master of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’
9 “And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a silver piece.
10 “And when the first came, they thought they would receive more. But they too received each a silver piece.
11 “And when they received it, they grumbled against the householder,
12 saying, ‘These last have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’
13 “But he answering, said to one of them, ‘Friend, I do you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a silver piece?
14 ‘Take yours and go. But I wish to give to this last man as also to you.
15 ‘Is it not right for me to do what I wish with my own? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’
16 “Thus the last shall be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”1 Footnote:1See 22:14.

1 Corinthians 10
24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

Conclusion

The international financial crisis and virtually every financial crisis in the last century has been caused by man's unwillingness to obey his Creator's teachings regarding money.  Yah's teachings regarding money are found in the pages of Scriptures.  Man has disregarded Yah's commands regarding usury (interest) and debt, and will, as a natural result, reap desolation and depression.  The only hope we have to avoid this is to truly repent by reforming our banking and financial systems to comply with Yah's instructions as found in the Scriptures.
