The Babylonians Are Coming - Part 1
|
Just as the beast of that day – the Babylonians – invaded Israel in the time of JermiYah the prophet because of the idolatry and disobedience perpetrated by the people of Israel, the beast of today – Rome and all of its off-shoots (i.e. “horns”) – is preparing yet another act of aggression as the result of our disobedience. Just as the Most High sent the beast against the Israelites as a form of chastisement, the beast is advancing again as a form of chastisement for a humanity that has trespassed against and forsaken its Creator.
The similarities between the time of JermiYah and today are striking.
- Both cultures are rife with Baal worship.
- In JeremiYah’s day, incense was burned under evergreen trees in honor of Baal. Today, evergreen trees are brought into houses as Christmas trees to worship Baal.
- In JermiYah’s day, the people murdered their own children as an offering to Baal. Today, people willingly murder their own children – unborn children – as an offering to the god of convenience and self-service.
- During JeremiYah’s day, the prophets and pastors forsook the Torah, making them wind-bags. Today, religious leaders have again forsaken the Torah causing them and the people to again fall prey to idolatrous and Satanic influences.
- In JeremiYah’s day, the pastors ruled by their own authority. Today, pastors and church leaders also rule by their own authority as they reject the authority of all of Scriptures.
- In JeremiYah’s day, the people proclaimed, “we are set at liberty to do these abominations!” Today, people also believe that they are free to commit abominations such as eating unclean foods and observing idolatrous holy-days such as Christmas and Easter.
Just as the beast in JeremiYah’s day was being built up by Yah as a judgment against His people, He is again raising up the beast as a judgment against the whole earth. This beast, which is the Roman religious system, has fornicated with the kings of the earth. These kings are the very wealthy elitists, such as the Carnegies, the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, the Fords and others.
The attached video is an interesting documentary of how these “kings” are controlling more of our lives and more of our culture than we realize and not for our good. This video is the oral testimony of Norman Dodd the chairman of the Reese Committee tasked with a congressional investigation into the forces that seek to change our country through unconstitutional means. Their findings reveal a clue as to the actual agenda behind philanthropy groups founded by these “kings of the earth.”
Although the video is rather “dry,” as somebody with a banking background, I found the details in this absolutely riveting and well worth the watch. I think this video will help you understand how tightly the beast controls our lives, in fulfillment of Bible prophesy.

Have a look at the following video that contains some good starting points to understanding how, as we read in Revelation 13:12, the beast (Rome) causes the entire earth to worship the first beast (Babylon).
This beast is barely visible, yet the evidence of it is all around us. Understand that the beast is a world-wide religious and political system “that was, and is not, and yet is” (Revelation 17:8).
This clever deception will take its harsh toll on those that do not study their Bibles diligently.
